Expect a party night with a difference...

This is a one night event so bring your colleagues and your friends and make sure you kick the festive season off by having the food you want, listening to the music you want, dancing as badly as you want and having the best night ever!

Enjoy a welcome drink and your choice of main and dessert from our street food styled market and half a bottle of wine per person.
There will be great competitions, including a live on-stage "Win it Minute" with Tay FM's Webster, and fabulous entertainment from the high-energy, dancefloor filling
Till Death Do Us Party and a DJ set from Webster himself.

Frequently asked questions

How much are tickets and what do I get with my ticket?
Tickets cost £35 per person
Tables of 10 will receive a discount of 10% (that's one free seat at your table!)

Each ticket will include a welcome glass of bubbly, two vouchers to use at the food vendor(s) of your choice and half a bottle of wine per person.

Your tickets will be sent out to you via the main contact's details they list on the booking form three weeks' prior to the event.

Each table will have 10 seats, if you purchase less than 10 tickets, please note you may be allocated a table with other party guests.

What is the booking and payment process?
To book, please follow the book now prompts on our website.  A non-refundable deposit of £12 per person will be required to secure your place at the event. 
Full payment of balance is due by Friday 2nd November 2018.
If you are booking after Saturday 20th October 2018, you will be required to pay the full balance upon booking.

Is there an age requirement for the party night?
Minimum age of 18 to attend the party night.

If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please note you will be asked to provide photographic ID.  If no acceptable form of ID can be provided, the guest will not be served.  Legally acceptable forms of ID include a full or provisional driver's licence, passport, EU nationality cards, YoungScot card or any other card with a PASS hologram.

Where and when will the event take place?
We are open from 7pm until 12 midnight on Saturday 8th December 2018 in the Marquee on Lower College Lawn, North Street, St Andrews, KY16 9AL.

Will there be parking?
There is no event specific parking.  There are spaces on North Street, the Scores and throughout the town.

Are there multiple travel options for me to attend the event?
St Andrews bus station is located a short walk from the event venue. Please see timetables here.

If you are travelling from Dundee, we are putting on a return bus journey from Slessor Gardens in Dundee City Centre.
A return bus ticket will cost £8.15 per person and seats are allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.
Pick up will be at 6:30pm and collection from the venue will be at 12:05am following the event.

What are the food and drink offerings?
Your choice of food will be from our fantastic vendors.  If you run out of vouchers, you will be able to purchase more food from each throughout the evening.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase from our well stocked bar.

Should you wish to pre-order some bottles for your table, please let us know on UniEvents@st-andrews.ac.uk and we will arrange for these to be waiting for you!

Do you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?
Our food vendors will be able to accommodate almost all dietaries.  If you feel your dietary is something we need to know about prior to the evening, please let us know at UniEvents@st-andrews.ac.uk and give us your booking reference.

If you have an allergy, please do let us know in advance.

We are unable to provide Kosher meals, however, you are welcome to arrange for us to receive a Kosher meal on the day of the party and we will cook this in our ovens and serve (still in the tray) to you at your table. There is no additional charge for this service; however, neither do you receive any discount for not having one of the meals from our food vendors.

What is the dress code?
Christmas party attire... the sparklier or more festive the better.
No football colours please.

Is the venue accessible?
The venue is accessible to those in wheelchairs or those with limited mobility from both the Scores (from street level) or North Street (via a ramp).  Please do let us know at UniEvents@st-andrews.ac.uk if you have accessibility requirements and we will ensure your table is placed appropriately.
